Analysis Paralysis

I have spent the past several months working with several great clients who are investors. One thing that has repeatedly been the topic of conversation is "Analysis Paralysis". This is by no means a phrase that I have coined, but rather a phrase that I have heard from many people. In the world of investors, inventors, entrepreneurs and quite frankly even those content with working a 9-5, sometimes we in our cautiousness can be our own worst enemy. Everyone knows there is a certain level of discovery, education and investigation that goes into any new endeavor and no sane person is going to discourage anyone from taking the proper amount of caution and committing to the due diligence needed when assessing a new business deal, investment etc.

The Problem is far too often we allow ourselves to over analyze things keeping us in a place of stagnation, never taking action on what we know we want or NEED to do.

Good ideas are a dime a dozen and it is extremely rare to ever get paid for just an idea because, successful people know that true value is not necessarily found in an idea but rather the execution of that idea. Not convinced? This may be an extreme example but billion dollar ideas are easy to come by. Ideas such as curing cancer or generating sustainable renewable green energy will easily get you there, if only you can actually make it happen. I say this to say that true power is found in taking as Grant Cardone says, "MASSIVE ACTION."

What in your life have you been over analyzing, and WHY?
What action do you NEED to take TODAY?!

As coaches we get the privilege to come along side some brilliant people and help them move from knowing a lot and doing nothing, into a place where you put all of your analyzing, theory and education into ACTION. What would it look like for you to take a step of action today towards what you are called and designed to do? No more over thinking, no more someday, but actually taking a step TODAY. I believe you can do it! The question is will you?
