Coaching vs. Consulting
Have you found yourself wondering the difference in a business consultant and a business coach? There is no doubt that the industry has become inundated with coaches and consultants and many people don't know the difference in the two. So, is there a difference? If so, what is it?
Coaching vs. Consulting
Simply put, Consultants bring advice and recommendations to businesses and individuals alike in areas they have past professional experience and usually at a high level. Coaches on the other hand specialize in helping people and businesses self realize their vision, goals and any internal or external barriers. While consultants need experience and expertise in the specific field in which they are consulting; coaches can accept clients from any industry with any focus without having prior knowledge or experience in that industry. This is because it is the coaches responsibility to help their client self realize goals and barriers, as well as help make a strategic action plan and insure they are held accountable to it.
One of the things I love about our company is that we offer both consulting and coaching or a blend of the two, all based on our clients needs. We have found that many times people feel as if they need a consultant when in all actuality they would be better served by a coach. Have you ever felt like you knew exactly what your business needed to do, but it never seemed to get done? Maybe you have hit a performance ceiling or are having personnel problems? These are situations we love coaching people through! As coaches we love helping our clients get "unstuck".
Whether you need a coach or consultant we would love to offer you an initial consultation so we can discover if we would be a good fit or not. Simply use the form on our website to get it scheduled today! www.mcgeeinc.com
